Yumpu Book, the fastest way to do a magazine
I was curious when I heard about Yumpu. On the one hand, I had already participated in the graphic arrangement of some bulletins made by my schoolmates. The idea of these bulletins was always to print and distribute them to other students. But it made a lot of sense if we could have a digital format of these documents and disseminate them, it would be much more public and free of charge. On the other hand, when I work on paper to make cartoons, it would be possible to scan and make a digital book very quickly. I decided to try it out.
To better understand how yumpu works I decided to see a tutorial, which is available at: (14) How to make online flipbooks from PDF with Yumpu.com - Video Tutorial - YouTube. If you need there is a help center on Yumpu (Update an existing magazine | Yumpu Help Center).
To better understand the functionalities and advantages and disadvantages of using this digital tool, I went to read Grantham Vanhoose's review. He tells us that if we want to create an online presence through brochures, magazines, yumpu.com is a suitable solution for that. He considers this program an alternative to using Issuu (which I personally don't like).
The Yumpu website is very functional, intuitive, and very easy to understand.
To try Yumpu, I chose a work I had done in Pdf on the biography of Portuguese writers, in this case by Camilo Castelo Branco. I was impressed with how quickly I created this leaflet/newsletter. I share the result:
