Final website

The website I built came from some research I had done on how to build a website. I already had a website where my portfolio was, but I wanted to build a totally new one. The details I was concerned with were much more technical than aesthetic.

The website was built with the aim of promoting and making my work known in the area of 2D animation.

Initially, my website had a simple layout, which I wanted to keep. The big problem was in terms of aesthetics, as I show in the following example:

I wanted to keep the website simple, even in terms of layout, fonts, colors, menu, among other aspects. But the truth is that in aesthetic terms the website was not doing well. I then tried to work on the fonts and colors that appeared. I canceled out the flourishing green, which was very exaggerated and a little childish. I tried to create a more professional layout and some letters with some design and easy to read at the same time. My goal was to engage the target audience with my work and not with the website, but I think that the image above shows that people would be stuck with exaggerated color and also with poor care. This could also lead people to become disinterested, an aspect that did not concern me in the first phase of construction.

The menu is easy to navigate and intuitive, allowing people to access all the content on the site without getting lost. All the navigation buttons are working and it is very simple to be able to go back, having a specific button for that purpose in all the pages that we access when we access the animations. On the other pages, the menu is always visible.

Then I will have to think of a way to publicize my work and I should start by publicizing my work on social networks.
