Further research & the direction of my project
Starting a project should be based on research work, so that we can understand which way to go, who can inspire us with work already done in the same area, and how we can build knowledge to be able to do something that is rich in content. and meaning. Especially in a theme like Anime, in which there are many different manifestations on this theme.
How was my research, so far, informed my project?
The research helped me with information about what people think or like about animation, including the style, the genre, the type of characters, all of this depending on the person. Through research, I was able to discover information about Anime that I didn't know yet. In the various surveys, I was able to perceive the information given and choose what was important or significant for my project. Even knowing some aspects of Anime, the research allowed me to deepen this knowledge and get a look that was not biased or wrong. We often have preconceived ideas on certain subjects and we need to have a secure basis on the different subjects that we intend to work on. So, research is helping me to make my project more consistent and informed.
How useful has my research been?
Very useful. In fact, I did some major changes to my original character to look more like a human. I was able to understand with the different researches and reflections from them, how I would guide my project. It is necessary to make a personal investment when thinking about a project, and although it seems that time is wasted with research, the truth is that it is again. In the past term, I understood this and realized how my animation evolved and grew throughout the process. The same is happening with this project. Initially, I thought about the character and the animation in a way that is gradually developing, based on the research that I have been developing. I can even say that the usefulness of the research, in the sense of being good research and that allows me to draw conclusions, is related to the success of my project.
What further research will carry out next to build on previous research?
I will continue to research anime, techniques, the theme of space (in the context of Anime), and more detailed aspects, such as the anatomy of the body relating to robots, among other aspects. The truth is that the research that is being carried out leads us to other research. Because we realize that given research refers to different subjects, but that can be equally interesting and important for the project that we are developing. I still have planned research in the area of Anime, from the types of anima to the techniques to be able to think better about my project.
How will the further research inform my work?
It is important to be able to understand the influences that we have had in our work and how research has related to this influence. It was not possible to make an Anime without researching this topic and understanding everything that surrounds it. In this way, the research that I still intend to do will help me to finalize details in the construction of the character, scenarios, techniques, sound, storyboard, among other aspects that can still be rethought from future research.

Lots of detail here - most interested in what you do in terms of your research into the theme of space and anatomy regarding cartoon depictions of both of these elements. Again, would like to see you do a whole series of development drawings that show experimentation and exaggeration of the figures - elongated arms, athletic limbs etc.
